On this day, you will discover the city’s main cultural and historical landmarks: the majestic Holy Trinity Cathedral, which preserves important chapters of the country’s history, and the National Museum of Ethiopia, home to unique artifacts of ancient civilization. The day concludes with a visit to the colorful Merkato Market — the largest market in Africa. The morning begins with a flight to southern Ethiopia, to the town of Jinka — the starting point of your journey through the Omo Valley. Here you will immerse yourself in the life of the Hamar people: interact with local residents, stroll through the village, and observe their daily routines. Every detail — from traditional dwellings to customs and rituals — reveals the rich culture of the tribe and its unique rhythm of life. In the evening, return to the lodge to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere after a full and enriching day.

The day is spent among the traditions of the Hamar people: local residents will introduce you to the process of creating handmade traditional crafts, show how livestock is cared for, and explain how daily community life is organized, as well as share insights into local farming methods. Later, you will set out on a walk to Mount Uri, where breathtaking panoramic views of the valley unfold. Toward evening, you will return to the village and continue interacting with its residents. The night is spent in a cozy lodge.

Your morning begins with participation in a Hamar coffee ceremony, allowing you to experience the spirit of hospitality and local traditions. Afterwards, you travel to the lands of the Arbore people, with a scenic stop at Lake Chew Bahir to admire the surrounding landscapes. Upon arrival, meet the community chief, who will introduce you to the history and customs of the Arbore. Stroll through the village, observe daily life, and interact with the locals. In the evening, enjoy an atmospheric gathering around the fire with traditional songs and dances, followed by a return to the lodge for rest and relaxation.

The day begins with an immersion into the life of an Arbore village: you will learn about traditional farming methods, visit local homes, and observe how village life is organized. In the afternoon, you will head to the remote settlement of Belibelo, home to members of different clans, and fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this unique community. In the evening, return to the lodge for rest after a rich and eventful day.
